Dyve Studios Inc. (“Dyve Studios”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates Assemble Pro, an AI-powered video editing platform (“Assemble Pro” or the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with global data protection laws, including the EU GDPR, the California CCPA, Canada’s PIPEDA, and other applicable privacy frameworks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it (including hosting on AWS servers), how we share it, and your rights. The Service is intended for users 13 years of age and older, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices. By using Assemble Pro, you acknowledge the practices described below.
Information You Provide
We collect both personal information you provide to us and data collected automatically when you use Assemble Pro. “Personal data” (or “personal information”) means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. The types of information we may collect include:
-
Information You Provide:

We do not obtain or store your Google password. |

Assemble Pro never stores full card numbers; we store only the payment-processor token & last 4 digits. |
No traditional sign-up fields: Because we rely exclusively on Google Sign-In, Assemble Pro does not ask you to create a separate username/password nor collect security-question answers.
-
Information Collected Automatically: As you navigate and use Assemble Pro (including our website or app), we and our third-party providers (like analytics services) automatically collect certain technical and usage data. This may include your device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, pages or features you access, dates and times of access, and referring URLs. We also collect information about your usage of the Service – for example, features you use and edits you perform – to help us understand engagement and improve functionality. We may derive general location information from your IP address (e.g. city or country level). This automatically-collected data helps us administer and protect our Service, analyze usage, and customize your experience.
-
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Like many online services, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information automatically. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by our servers later. For example, we use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and gather analytics about how users interact with our platform. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain for a set period) to provide functionality and measure traffic. We and partners may also use web beacons, pixels, or embedded scripts in our website or emails to understand engagement (e.g. whether an email was opened). You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings; however, note that some Service features may not function properly without cookies. For more details on our use of cookies, you may review the “Cookies” section of this Policy or contact us with any questions.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal data for the following purposes, in accordance with applicable law:
- Providing and Improving the Service: We process your information to operate Assemble Pro and deliver its features to you. This includes using your personal data and uploaded content to perform video editing, generate AI-driven edits/effects, and other core functionalities you request. We also use data to maintain and improve the Service’s performance, quality, and user experience (for example, fixing bugs, analyzing usage trends, and developing new features). All processing of your content is done to serve you and improve the platform’s functionality – we do not use your content or personal data to train our machine learning models at this time (see “Future Changes” below regarding AI training).
- Account Management and Customer Support: We use the Google profile data and OAuth tokens to create and manage your Assemble Pro account, authenticate you each time you log in, and personalize your workspace (e.g., displaying your Google display name and avatar). Because we hold no passwords, if you wish to update or secure your Google credentials you must do so through Google directly.
- Analytics and Product Research: We use data (much of it in aggregated or de-identified form) to understand how users interact with Assemble Pro. This helps us analyze product performance and user behavior in order to improve our Service and guide product development. For example, we may track which features are most used or how users navigate the interface, and we may use Google Analytics or similar tools to obtain insights. This information is used internally to make our platform better and is not used to profile individuals for marketing outside our service.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: Personal data may be used to maintain the security of our platform, users, and business. We monitor usage, log access data, and use automated tools to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, security breaches, and other malicious or illegal activities. This may include verifying user identities, investigating suspicious behavior, and enforcing our Terms of Service. Our use of data for security helps protect both you and us.
- Legal Compliance: We may process and retain your information as needed to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests. For example, we may use personal data to fulfill tax and accounting obligations, or to respond to subpoenas or court orders. We also use data to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. Where possible and appropriate, we will notify you of such disclosures or uses.
Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK users): When we process personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we ensure we have a valid legal basis under GDPR. Typically, the legal bases are: contract performance (providing you the Service you requested); legitimate interests (for purposes like improving our Service or ensuring security, after weighing these interests against your data protection rights); consent (for optional uses like certain marketing cookies or newsletters, where you have a choice); or legal obligation (for handling data required by law). We only use your data for purposes compatible with those disclosed, and we will seek your consent when required, especially if we ever plan new uses of your data.
How We Share Your Information
We understand the importance of your personal information and only share it in certain circumstances, aligning with this Policy and all relevant laws. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for any purpose, and we do not disclose your information to others except as described below:
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, and we may need to share certain personal data with them to fulfill those purposes. These service providers act under contractual agreements that require them to protect your data and only use it per our instructions. Key service providers include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (who store or process data for us), payment processors, email/message delivery services, customer support tools, and analytics providers. For example, Google Sign-In / Google Identity Services. Google acts as our identity provider. When you click “Continue with Google,” Google confirms your identity and passes us the limited profile data listed above plus OAuth tokens. Google may log that you used Google Sign-In in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. We store the tokens encrypted and do not share them with any other party. We also use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host and store data for Assemble Pro, meaning your information (including personal data and content files) is stored on AWS’s secure servers. And we utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for certain cloud computing functions to power our AI features and store backups; any personal data processed via GCP is protected under Google’s security protocols and our agreements with them. These providers are given only the information necessary to perform their functions, and they are not permitted to use your data for other purposes.
- Third-Party Integrations: Assemble Pro offers integrations with third-party software and platforms to enhance your workflow. For instance, you may choose to use our plugins or integrations with Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro X to import/export media or projects. If you opt to connect these third-party applications with Assemble Pro, we will exchange the minimum information needed to enable the integration (such as project files or media data). We do not share your account credentials with these tools; any access is typically authorized through APIs or your local system. Google Analytics is another third-party service we use – it collects usage data (e.g. page visits, clicks) via cookies on our site to help us analyze how users use Assemble Pro. Google Analytics may receive certain information such as your IP address and device info, but no sensitive personal details (like your name or videos) are shared with Google Analytics. We have configured Google Analytics in compliance with privacy requirements (for example, using IP anonymization where applicable).
- Business Transfers: If Dyve Studios ever engages in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, user information (including personal data) may be transferred to or acquired by the successor or acquiring entity as part of that transaction. In such events, we will ensure the new owner continues to be bound by privacy protections consistent with this Policy, or we will notify you if a new privacy policy will apply.
